With the utmost efforts of Dr. Shazia Naureen Qureshi, Principal, University Law College, a new Ph.D. Program in Law & Human Rights has been offered. It provides vast opportunities to the scholars to enhance expertise on the most intractable human rights challenges of the 21st century.
The Law programs offer an opportunity to explore a wide range of subjects at an advanced level and study the law in the fast-paced and diverse context of the commercial world. Students engage in intensive study experience related to specialist commercial and industrial topics.
The Department of Law offers Ph.D. (Law) and a wide range of specialized LL.M. degree programmes such as LL.M. International Law, LL.M. Corporate Law, LL.M. Human Rights Law, LL.M. International Trade Law etc. and LL.B. 5 years degree programme.
This is the only Law Faculty in Pakistan which has 36 academicians holding PhDs in various fields of Shari‘ah & Law; most of them obtained their degrees of doctorates from the leading universities of the world.
